This Is Not a Government or Law Enforcement Office. West Carroll Parish Warrant Records is a private reference site. We cannot confirm that a warrant exists, recall or clear one, post bond, arrange a surrender or a booking time, or give legal advice to anyone. For any of those, contact the sheriff's office or the court that issued the paper.
Need Official Warrant Information?
Start with the office below that matches your paper. Have a full legal name, a date of birth, and any case or citation number within reach, and ask whether you have reached the office that holds the record or only a routing desk.
- Whether a warrant is active: West Carroll Parish Sheriff's Department at (318) 428-2331. The office says it answers questions at any hour, but it publishes no warrant window and posts no complete list.
- A district criminal or traffic file: West Carroll Parish Clerk of Court criminal department at (318) 428-3281, weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The Clerk keeps felony filings, bond forfeiture notices, and citation records, but does not set or collect traffic fines.
- A town or village citation: the court printed on the ticket, such as Oak Grove Mayor's Court at (318) 428-3276 or Kilbourne Magistrate's Court at (318) 428-2774.
- A lower court summons or missed date: the justice of the peace district named on the paper. The Louisiana Attorney General publishes a justice of the peace and constable directory with each district office phone.
- A criminal court date or a traffic payment question: the Fifth Judicial District Attorney's West Carroll office at (318) 428-3213.
The court complex and the sheriff share one address: West Carroll Parish Courthouse, 305 East Main Street, Oak Grove, LA 71263. The Clerk sits in Suite 101 of that building. Oak Grove's own court, police department, and City Hall are two blocks away at 407 East Main Street, a different building with different records.
Not every statewide service answers a warrant question. The Louisiana Automated Victim Information and Notification service tracks custody status for victims, and the federal PACER system shows federal dockets. Neither one confirms a parish warrant. When a record is withheld, ask the office which statute or court order applies and whether any part can be released to you.
